The father of gospel music, Dr. Thomas A. Dorsey, established a standard of excellence and sacredness in gospel music that was based on scripture and worked out through the human experience called life.  This collection of hymns, psalms and spiritual songs recorded live at the Pilgrim Baptist Church in Chicago, Illinois, reflects the rich traditional values of the old landmarks and seeks to express them through the vibrant and talented songwriters, artists and musicians of today.  The NCGCC Mass Choir is a gathering of gifted gospel singers from around the United States joining together in powerful expressions of praise.  Their voices unite in sincere demonstrations of varying musical styles and their spirit is obvious.
