MUSIC MINISTRY CORE VALUES

  • To model Biblical examples of music ministry
  • To be spiritual in all aspects of music ministry
  • To model and promote worship through music
  • To demonstrate care and concern in relationships
  • To exemplify the committed Christian lifestyle
  • To promote fellowship and trust among musicians
  • To accept and provide music of various styles, cultures and ethnicity
  • To minister to the entire body through music
  • To encourage high moral and ethical standards among musicians
  • To support other ministries in the church and denomination

PURPOSE

  • To share concepts, tools and techniques with a broader spectrum of both full and part-time musicians by taking music ministry directly to state and local levels.

  • To create, promote and effectively use recorded and print music that will impact music and musicians and encourage them to engage in more effective music ministry in today’s world.

  • To guide the development of a prophetic and powerful music ministry, in which we are enabled and used by the Holy Spirit to both "speak forth" and "foretell" the Word of God through music.

  • To build a network of music ministers to enhance the local music ministries through specialized programs such as music ministry placement, and on-the-job training.

  • To influence and empower music ministry to “the worship generation” and to fully participate in the 21st century outpouring of worship through music.
